Melissa woke up early this morning. It was still a little dark out as dawn began to break the dark sky into light. She grabbed her bow and swug her arrow over her right shoulder and her head. She put her bow in her right hand, clutching the handle firmly. She went out the door and made her way to the forest. She had ran to the forest, as if she knew she would see something amazing. She enter the forest and now she noticed the hot summer sun beating down on her with intense heat. The forest shade was all that cooled her. She grabbed an arrow, having it ready to take a shot at whatever she could hunt that was edible. She walked slowly, not wanting to make any animals flee. She heard a noise, something was at her right side. She crouched down so it was harder to see her thought the bushes. Soon it appeared, a deer. She quietly check the wind. It was going towards her. To the East was were. She pulled back the bow with a firm grip. She was about to take the shot when the deer moved, it must have heard something. Melissa catously came out of the bush and began to move again. She quietly followed the deer. Only able to see its tail she came South a bit more. She could see the head now. She aimed and fired the arrow. The deer fell to the ground with a thud. Melissa began to go over to retrieve her prize.

Watching from the trees the whole time, Sabrina took one last leap from one tree's branch to another tree's branch before hopping down, stumbling slightly due to the pressure from the fall. "Nice catch," the leader complimented, walking toward Melissa. "It's funny how humans so easily take another creature's life without thinking. You could at least thank it for its life, you know." Sticking her left hand in her pocket, iPod in that same hand as usual, earphones in her ears, Sabrina backed up and leaned against the tree she'd leaped off of only a few minutes prior. "You ever been outside the teams' territories?" Sabrina asked, switching the song she was listening to before looking back at Melissa.
Truthfully, more than anything, Sabrina wanted to be playing a video game of sorts. She'd only taken a walk because her boyfriend, Phoenix, insisted she get out, even though he himself probably took right over on the gaming as she left; that much was obvious, especially since he hadn't gone with her like he normally would have. So, deciding to wait out going to the castle for a while, Sabrina went for a walk in the forest, though she could've easily bypassed what Phoenix told her to do and go to the arcade in the city or something. As much as Sabrina disliked humans, it might be good to make some friends within her team, especially since they could prove to be useful and easy to manipulate at some point.

Melissa hadn't noticed her leader until she spoke up. Melissa, didn't jump, her eyes looked ahead and almost looked grey and emotionless. She then turned to face Sabrina. Her blue eyes that usually sparkle still looked like pale orbs. "I am a hunter. I know enough not to hesitate. If you hesitate you might not caught." Melissa explained. Her voice was like her eyes, emotionless. Her eyes were mixed with no feeling and worry for her sister. A gental breeze went by, blowing her shirt and pant legs. She wore a gloove that looked kindda like metal on her left hand for using her bow. Melissa didn't like being watched for some reason. "Why are you up this early?" Melissa asked. She didn't know much about her leader. She never asked many questions and she was often very serious.

"I said nothing about hesitation; I merely meant that you should show appreciation when you kill an animal." Sabrina said with a straight face, looking into Melissa's eyes, trying to intimidate her. She was bored, and what else to do besides try to baffle a teammate? Well, okay, there were plenty of things to do besides that, but Sabrina didn't want to do any of them. "Of course you might get caught; after all, hesitation is normally a bad thing, and can easily even get you killed. However, sometimes, hesitation is a good thing, so honestly, it's just knowing the balance as to when hesitation is helpful and when it's harmful. Once you know that, which, by the way, is pretty much impossible to do, then you're fine." Sabrina said, not wanting to speak much more. Instead, she would rather listen to the reply she was about to get. Impossible because during adrenaline-filled times in life, you can't think and decide if it's good to hesitate or not, especially since, in that time that you're thinking, you're hesitating.
Eye twitching in annoyance, Sabrina let out a sigh, "well, I was up all night playing video games, and then Phoenix came into my room a little while ago and said I needed to take a walk." She rolled her eyes, "boyfriends. Just like parents sometimes. Good thing mine are gone." Sabrina bit her tongue, realizing she'd said something that, honestly, only Phoenix knew. Her parents had died in battle, but it wasn't like she cared; she and her parents stopped getting along when Crystal, Sabrina's twin sister, began to receive all of the attention and Sabrina was considered the 'bad twin', even though both sisters did equally bad things. Crystal had simply been a better liar.

Melissa didn't change her emotion. How I am I to show appreciation when my sister is in the Infirmary? My emotions do not appeared, deep down I am worried and my stomach acks with it. Melissa thought. True her stomach acked, because of her being worried for Ally. Ally was her twin, they looked the same up until yesterday when the branch fell leaving a scar under Ally's right eye. Melissa's right hand still gripped her bow and the string was rubbing up against her arm leaving a small reddish mark that was hard to notice. She still hadn't spoken, her thoughts she wanted to say, but they were stuck in her throat. She couldn't talk like that in front of her leader. Instead of saying the words she coughed and said nothing. She heard the word boyfriend and Melissa never knew of this. She had always wonder what love was like, but she was too serious to ever find someone to... love. She almost didn't care for that emotion, only towards her sister she cared. Melissa stomach acked not just from being worried, but she felt nervous, still trying to hide her emotion. She had to speak up, her leader may think there was something wrong with her. "I didn't know you had a boyfriend." Melissa said. She thought that leaders didn't normally get boyfriends because they were so busy. Melissa's eyes still looked a little pale with worry. Something else that might be seen as sickness. When she was healthy, even if her eyes didn't sparkle like usual.

Sabrina nodded, "you've gained some knowledge today, then." Being she herself was naturally extremely pale, due to genetics, though many people often thought Sabrina was sick because of it, she didn't notice that Melissa was paler than usual. The sound of rain pelting the leaves and forest floor hit Sabrina's ear drums and she groaned, quickly putting her iPod and earphones into her pocket and covering her pocket with her long shirt, so the important- at least, it was important to this 14-year-old- device didn't get wet. It'll get ruined. Sabrina thought knowingly.
Looking up at the deer Melissa had caught, Sabrina let out a sigh, "that's pretty big, and it won't be easy bringing it in the rain. I don't know about hunting, so I'm not sure if it'll spoil or something like that in the rain, but do you want some help bringing it back to the castle?" It was rare for the leader of team Moonrise to help other people, so she expected at least a tiny bit of shock, which Sabrina prepared for by looking to her right and pretending she'd never asked.

Melissa had a different reason why they had to take the deer to the castle. Wolves could come and eat it. Rain hit her skin like cold needles. She was only wearing a T-shirt. "It won't spoil, but there is a chance wolves will come for it." Melissa explained. She would need help taking the deer to the castle. It was too heavy for her to carry it at a good pace. She would get sick the next day and that wouldn't help anyone. "Yes I would like help. You carry two feet and I will carry two." Melissa said. She thought it was odd to have a leader 4 years younger then her. Before she had to pick up the feet of the deer she swung her bow under her shoulder with the wood at her armpit and the sting on top. It wasn't that comfortable though. She grabbed two of the deer's hooves lifting some of it into the air. The deer looked smaller then it was, its fur wasn't as ruffled. Making it look slightly smaller.

"Good enough reason." Sabrina said, waiting to see if Melissa would accept her offer. When she did, Sabrina nodded and grabbed two hooves, lifting them with some ease; she may not have been the fastest fighter around, but her sword was rather heavy, so, despite what you may think by looking at her, Sabrina did have decent arm strength. She waited, ignoring the slight pull to the ground she felt from the weight of the dear, for the order to go.
(Sorry for shortness.)

Melissa waited until some of the wieght had been lifted. "Lets go." Melissa said. There was no need to run, but she would have been really slow if she didn't help her. Melissa walked, being quiet, as if listening for something.

Sabrina followed at the command, keeping the hooves held high. She would've held them above her head, but the thought of having a dead animal above her head wasn't too wonderful a thought, so Sabrina just dealt with the rain hitting her head, a slight sigh escaping her. I try to be helpful and nice to others, but it always seems to be a disadvantage to me.. Then again, I suppose I should bring back that 'making friends' thing; after all, though this may not be an advantage now, it might be in the long run. Sabrina thought, deciding to put a good spin- well, good to her- on things.
"We almost there?" The 14-year-old asked upon stepping into the castle. Sabrina wondered exactly where the hunters brought the food they'd killed; did they all bring it to the cafeteria? What about the city?

Melissa looked around. She could just see the top of the castle. "Yeah were almost there." Melissa said. She kept walking when she could hear howling. "We better move, wolves are going hunting maybe." Melissa said. That made her want to get out of the forest. She couldn't see the end of the forest as they passed trees.

Sabrina, in her impatience to get the whole thing over with, didn't waste her breath with more words. She simply moved on, biting at her lip as she heard the howl of a wolf pack. She soon heard barking drawing closer and closer until five wolves burst through some bushes and began attacking.
Sabrina instantly dropped the deer carcass, whipped out the whistle that her second-in-command had given her for the dogs he trained for her, and blew it. She didn't spend anymore time in preparing for battle; pulling out her iPod, she made it transform into the sword she loved so much. The earphones, as usual, implanted themselves into her arms, leaving a wire from her arm to the blade's handle. This made it so not only could an enemy not knock Sabrina's sword out of her hand, but her energy could be put into it for stronger attacks.
Sabrina's two greyhounds came, and she pointed with her sword to the wolves, letting out a calm command: "attack." The greyhounds bounded toward the wolves and got into a fight with two of them total, leaving three for Sabrina and Melissa. "Shall we?" Sabrina looked over at Melissa with a grin, hardly able to hold herself back from going at the wolves.

Melissa smiled, finaly something interesting. "Lets go." Melissa said smiling. She grabbed an arrow and began to shot. At her last should just use it to protect herself. The wolves growled, but yelped when her arrows made contact. She had only shot three and the ran for a while until slowing and falling dead. Melissa wasn't trying to make them suffer, but her aim was a little off because of her hurry. One came from behind her pushing her down and bitting her right arm, but she hit it with an arrow stabbing its shoulder and it ran whimpering. She got up now covered with mud. Her clothes looked like a mess, but her right arm was bloody and covered in mud. To her it didn't look so bad, but maybe not to the healers.

Sabrina was about to began hacking and slashing, but she saw that they were too soon dead, taken care of by Melissa. Looking toward her dogs, she saw that they were injured, and seemed to having some trouble in fighting the remaining two wolves. Deciding to attack those, Sabrina charged at the wolves and slashed at each wolf's flank, receiving a bite on the arm from one, and hardly missing the other wolf's bite.
Trying to ignore the wave of pain in her right arm, which Sabrina often used to defend herself in battle, she attacked at the wolves again, and with the help of her trained dogs, it only took a few more minutes before the last two wolves had also died.
"Well, that was fun, at best. Definitely not as great as a team battle, though." Sabrina commented, looking at the bloodied forms of the wolves.

"Well there is the fact that I am not use to fighting also." Melissa said. Some said it was the same, but she didn't. Hunting was calm and not rushed. Fighting was quick and fast. Melissa picked up the deer by the back of its hooves again to lift it and take it back to the castle.
(Sorry, shory.)
